I just bought a 2002 LR Disco SE7 with 42K miles on it.
<pat, pat> - patting myself on the back !!!
1. When I bought it, the air conditioning display used to show the temperatures in Fahrenheit. After I gave the landy for a professional interior detailing yesterday, they must have pressed something, and now the temp. display is in Centigrade, and I can't seem to get it back to F. I am in the USA and centigrade is not what I am used to.
Question is, how can I get it back to display in Fahrenheit ? Looked at the manual and didn't find anything.
2. My 2 front tires are not so good, so I am thinking of getting replacements. I'm thinking of changing all 4. What tires are most suitable for Discos ? I am looking for all-season tires, which will also allow me to do a bit of off-roading (not going over boulders kind, but something easier), have good snow traction (live in New Jersey) and good dry-road driving. The OEM Goodyear Wranglers don't seem to have good ratings in consumer forums. I have been thinking about Michelin Cross Terrain ($149 each), Michelin LTX M/S ($125 each), Pirelli Scorpion STR ($140 each). Of these, which is recommended, or is there any other recommendation, if possibly a cheaper option ?
Thanks for your responses.
