Yesterday, I turned the key and all of the sudden everything went black. Some how, the bolt holding the negative battery cable has fallen off. I found another bolt to take it's place and screwed that back in. Went to in to start the car and there is still absolutely no power in the car whatsoever. I tried to jump start it and not even the clock or mileage were coming on. I'm 100% positive the battery is fine because i had it on the charger last night and it charged like normal.

I have never touched that nut before. The last time the car was in the shop was over a year ago at the local retailer to replace the ignition cylinder.

Help?

Check
Check
Checked all of the regular clear ones. Not too sure how to check the bigger ones

Fixed. I tapped the battery terminals with a hammer a few times and it didn't work. Out of frustration I wacked the hell out of it and it worked!

Change the terminals, just did this myself. Kept thinking my battery was getting drained when it reality it was just a shitty connection.

It is possible there is an internal battery issue. Take off all cables, clean all four contacts - battery terminals (2) and battery cables (2) and reinstall. If it happens again I wouldn't rule out a bad battery. It might charge and show a good 12V and then fail again.
