2001 Land Rover Discovery II SE $7,500 in Worthington, Ohio (Columbus Area)

I'm the third owner of this Disco and it has been well cared for and has 89,000 miles on it. Since I purchased it the engine has been replaced with a rebuilt block from a '97 (less than 5,000 miles since swap) from Mud Ruts Off-Road in Columbus. The transfer case solenoids have been removed to prevent locking up while on the trail. Steering box was leaking and has been replaced. It has new KM2s on all four corners with less than 3,000 miles on them. Front drive shaft and bearings rebuilt/replaced. CB set up wired through the rear door, under the headliner and into the dash--super clean as it's the all in one Cobra 75 WX ST. Satellite radio is removed, but can be added back in. Driver's side door has been replaced with a new matching Kent green door. Original door with VIN comes with truck. Front OME suspension parts replaced (the old ones were sagging). Thermostat has been upgraded to run cooler (thanks to Trailhead 4x4 in Cleveland).

Cruise control does not work and the passenger seat arm rest is missing. Overall in good shape and great off-road.

Off-road equipment:
• RTE A-bar Front Bumper With Hella Lights Mounted
• Greg Davis Rear Bumper With Quarter Panels Cut & Exhaust Moved To Side
• Brand new exhaust from manifold back
• BFG KM2s 285/75/16 With Excellent Tread
• Steel Rims From Range Rover Spare Tires
• RTE Front Skid Plate
• Rear Fuel Tank Skid Plate
• Front Quick Disconnects/rear Sway Bar Removed
• 3 Inch Lift w/ OME Heavy Duty Springs And Shocks
• CDL With Stock Shifter And Sticker
• ARB Airlockers Front and Back with On Board Compressor
• Safari Snorkel
• RTE Adjustable Pan Hard Rod
• LR Roof Rack With Flooring
• LR Rear Ladder
• Safari Guard Rock Sliders
• RTE Diff Guards
• Tom Woods Front Drive Shaft
• Great Basin Rovers Rear Drive Shaft
• Great Basin Rovers HD Rear Axel Shafts
• Mile Marker Winch 9500 Pound
• Great Basin Rovers 4.75 R And P's
• 60 Inch High Lift Jack
• Recovery Gear Included
• Sirius Radio

A great off-road Rover for running trails or more serious adventures this summer. You guys know you couldn't build this rover for $7,500. Email me for details, additional pics.

Woohoo another first poster with a for sale thread. Have fun boys!

Thanks for the warm welcome, I probably deserve that for being a lurker. After all, clearly from the truck I own I must just be some dude who doesn't care about Rovers at all and is just looking to sell a rig. Might be time to head back over to LandRoversOnly.com.

Yeah it's a first post, but that's a sweet low mileage trail sloot. Dig the color, dig the driveline, good luck with the sale.

It's been really good and is great on the trails, but I'm in grad school at that is a priority at the moment.

See, what really want is a pristine, stock Rover that costs around $15,000 so that when you're buried up to the top of the wheel wells in mud on a trail someplace you'll be comfortable in its plush interior . . . .
