2001 Land Rover Discovery II SE. 135k mi. Oslo Blue exterior, Bahama Beige interior. Daily driver. I've owned the truck for 4 years (~50k miles) and have spared little expense in maintaining the truck's running condition. Shifting my focus back to RRC, so open to passing this Rover along to the next steward who wants to maintain the truck for the another ~50k miles.
Rundown of conducted maintenance (all done by local Land Rover shop/tech):
Replaced A/C compressor + system service.
Replaced idler pulleys.
Replaced fluids all around--diffs, T/case, engine oil, coolant, transmission.
Replaced front and rear O2 sensors.
Replaced front drive shaft.
Resealed leaking front differential housing pinion seal.
Replaced front disc brakes and pads.
Replaced rear disc brakes, calipers, and pads.
Replaced master cylinder.
Replaced coil packs.
Replaced spark plugs.
Replaced front driver's side window actuator/regulator/motor.
Replaced front driver's side door latch mechanism and actuator.
Replaced read door latch.
Replaced valve ABS modulator.
Replaced directional wand/switch headlamp indicator.
Replaced headlamp wiring/harnesses.
Replaced ABS sensor hub.
Replaced wheel speed sensor, hub, and bearing assembly.
Installed SD rack and ladder.
The truck has typical northeast corrosion that would be expected for a 2001 model. Body has minor dings and a couple of bumper cracks (also small rear passenger side trim piece missing). Gel coat peeling on hood only. Truck is currently daily driver status and ready to be driven to it's new home, however, below is a rundown of known issues:
Small crack in Y pipe.
Repairable/weldable golf ball size hole in chassis.
Steering damper could be replaced.
BFG Mud Terrains tires could be replaced--possible culprit for an intermittent slight steering wobble at 48-50 mph.
Fob issues. Key isn't currently communicating with truck--possibly BCU-related?
Front sunroof not functioning--haven't began to troubleshoot?BCU-related?
Front heated seats not functioning--also haven't began to troubleshoot?BCU-related?
Front door lock housing not properly functioning.
Cruise control not functioning.
Truck is located in the Burlington, VT area.
