why is this "truck" soooooo awesome? i would drag my balls across broken glass before driving that thing - especially off road.

Of course I've read other posts. What difference does that make? It IS a Land Rover and it IS for sale- isn't that the criteria a vehicle has to meet to be posted here? YOU don't have to buy it, but someone else may be interested. If no one wants it, then who cares? I'm just trying to help out a friend.

This truck is certainly a bit of a freak-of-nature, no contesting that! To some that is a detriment, to others it may have some appeal.

To each their own!

Peace out.

Well, compared with putting a Disco 1 body on a Freelander chassis this is better, but I'd have chopped a bit out of the frame so the front wheels lined up with the wheel wells better. Still very odd......

You dont have lockers????

whatever truck i build next, the first thing it's getting is lockers. for what i've spent on my truck so far, i should have put most of tha tmoney into lockers, gears, and axles.

Yep, a stock disco with lockers will go further than a lifted truck with big fat wheels.

Edit: to keep this post from a highjack, is this thing locked?

Throw lockers on anything and it will run circles around 90% of the trucks on this board. Seriously, how many of us have lockers?

Does anyone have any descent info on this build? Its looks don't agree with my taste at all "BUT" "if" it was done right it would be a very capable truck for off road!

You disagree?
