I was wondering if anyone here can help me with a problem with the drivers side rear door that will only open from the inside. I was wanting to fix it myself but was a bit concerned with the airbag. Any help would be appreciated.

You know I am really growing tired of your bullshit. I asked a simple question and you have to post something that is not helpful. I apologized to you in the last forum and sent you a private message with the same message. I took the high road and accepted of what I said to you was wrong but here we are again with a stupid ass statement.

I'd just disconnect the battery to be safe then remove the door panel as usual. Any sensor to deploy the airbag probably isn't located in the door. It should have a connector by itself if you can't just move the door panel out of the way to service the handle.

Thank you Max. I just do not want an airbag blowing up on me. Take care.

Not sure what that means but ok . Get the door panel off before we talk about it anymore . How did we end up with the coolant leak you couldn't find ? What was leaking ? We gave you every damn possible leak I could possibly think of , no leak ? Now its your door .
This site was way more fun before this stupid shit started . People looking for advise that maybe worked on a different car line and needed to know whats what . People who grew up working on there own stuff and have a real good mechanical background . People with a chance of fixing something .
I really don't think you will take that door panel off . You just want to talk about it .

Oh and to make you happy Stew I found out the coolant problem it was a small leak in the reservoir. I am not here to placate what I do when it comes to repairing my vehicle. I came to ask a simple question. And Max chimed in and gave me some helpful advise without the frivolous comments.

So what did you see when you took the door panel off ? Since You wanted to fix your door I'm sure you got that far at least right ? Do you need service info for getting that panel off ? I'm sure one of these guys could post blown up views of the panel and all the screws and stuff for you . They got you all kinds of really good info about your coolant leak . How in the world did a leaking reservoir have you unable to locate the leak ? couldn't see it for all that wet fender ?

Oh now I understand . You see , we help each other out here with info and abuse and that kind of stuff . But I don't think anybody here cares about the problems we talk about . Maybe the guy or girl who owns the truck in question cares, but most of us don't . So you see if you stop expecting others to care you may find the world less painful

I guess Stew. But we bust balls and I know it's all in jest but in the beginning I was asking a serious question. Take care. Deano
