It's that time. My Rover hit 120,000 miles, so it's time for a tune up. I plan is to change the plugs and plug wires among other things. What gaskets do I need to replace? I also plan to remove the upper manifold to replace the valve cover gaskets. In addition, what are the best plugs and plug wires? I will also do a search on the site, but this will be a good refresher for most.

Thanks,

I would say get 8mm wires they have more insulation. Magnecore are the best but $100. NGK plugs work well in most people's vehicles. Also consider the 60k Service from the other forum. You will need a Plenium gasket and valve cover gaskets. Oil pan gasket and front cove gaskets are candidates at that mileage. Those are some involved jobs.

Cause on the other forum Dbag Mike said so.

Also British Pacific has some of the best prices on intake/valve cover gaskets.
