2004 DII Secondary Air Injection

Probably a dumb question. I am looking to replace the motor in my 2004 DII and I came across one and it indicates without secondary air injection. How would I know if this applies to my DII?

You will have one of these on each side of your motor. Those are part of the SAI secondary air injection system. The two are not interchangeable. The short block doesn’t matter, but the heads do.

Yeah those silver valves in the exhaust manifold, black thin vacuum tubes and the SAI pump are a dead giveaway it's has an SAI system attached.
