i'm not going to be the first one to put trail rash on it....altho my wife might?

Sorry, it's been a long week. What's the question?

If you're asking why my wife does not like offroading:
We went to MAR in 2007 with my Series III. As you know, most wives don't like Series trucks due to the ride and lack of creature comforts. Girlfriends seem to like those, but some sort of magic happens during the wedding ceremony. She expressed her "concerns" about the Series. So, I bought her the '04 Disco (as a weekend vehicle). We went to the MAR in '08 with this Disco (only easy and moderate trails). Those who know me and were there can attest that my wife just isn't into the camping / all day offroading type of events. Hence the 1:30 am departure from the campsite and a half hour trip to the nearest acceptable hotel in Charlottesville... If the trail rides were about 1/2 hour or maybe an hour, she would like it.

I have now purchased a Defender as my trail rig, and cannot afford two really nice trucks. Since I like the soft top option, I am selling the '04 Disco.

Best Regards,
Chuck

DANG! I was gonna say "decent price" for that truck, its toys and the mileage.

$11K-$13K? Really? are there ANY 04 DII modded for 11-13K out there?????

I need to start "looking" then...hehehe

Everyone's a price critic until it's their personal vehicle.

I spoke with Chuck about this truck a few weeks ago and I can tell you he knows it and has taken care of it; no expense spared. I'd be shocked if there's another DII out there with this few miles, with a warranty and quality aftermarket accessories for anything near his asking price. Take into account that it lacks trail rash and I think his price is quite fair.

If I were in the market for a "new" condition DII, this would be the truck.

She's Brazilian and fiery. Although I'm a foot taller, I'm quite scared of her!

It is a high price for dweb. If you are looking for that price range, ebay is your best bet.

Yeah, I kinda anticipated that. I wanted to give y'all a shot at it before putting it on Fleabay. There's another built '04 that just sold on here:

I know it's not apples to apples. The one above is more heavily built, but mine has 50k less miles and an extended warranty. I'm not trying to compare trucks, but I think I'm at least in the right ballpark.

I appreciate everybody's comments.
Cheers,
Chuck

I will publicly say that both Chuck's truck and his wife look great. :) haha

Good luck with the sale!! It really is a great looking and very functional DII.

You sure about that? Heated seats are generally part of the winter pkg that also has a heated windscreen - which yours does not unless you have a special secret button. The button for the windscreen is just above the rear window defroster button.

Were heated seats a stand alone option?

You should add a photo of the button cluster where the windows and seat heater buttons are located to be sure.

Also, people often like a clear shot of the odometer, one under the hood, under the drive line plus one of the 2nd row seats as well.

This will help distant buyers.

Am I sure that I have heated seats? I am very sure that I have heated seats. I hate the cold and use them quite frequently in the "frigid" state of Virginia... I will post some pics of the heated seat buttons, engine, OD, and undercarriage. Hopefully tomorrow.

I haven't found the special secret button for the heated windscreen.
