2004 Discovery with 208,000 miles on it.
On a trip a few weeks back I turned on the Cruise Control only to have nothing happen when I tried to set the speed. I haven't really had time to look into it that much.
Then today when a slow turning, unobservant driver pulled out in front of me, I found out that the horn buttons are not working.
I checked the relay and the fuse related to the horn and both are good.
I'm going to test the horns by directly wiring them to see if they are good.
Assuming they are still good, is the steering coupler/clock spring the next thing to check? If so, can I simply clean the contacts or is a replacement in order?
