Exterior:
Black with no major damage. Does have a few scratches and very minor dings. The front bumper plastic garnish has a crack in it. It is not the painted part of the bumper. All lights, turn signals work great. One of the rear tail lights has a crack in it but it does not affect performance or functionality at all. Tires have maybe 2000 miles on them tops (Nitto Crosstek).

Interior:
Tan leather interior with 7 passenger seating. All seating surfaces are free from rips, tears, stains, etc... Could use a good cleaning. The gear selector boot leather is falling apart (all Discovery's have this issue). The headliner is starting to fall (this is common with all Discovery's as well), I will use some adhesive to repair before sale. Air Conditioners (front and rear) work fine, with no know issues. Black carpet is in great shape with no worn out patches, rips, tears, stains. One of the coin drawers does not work (not sure what happened).

Mechanical:
4.6 liter V8 has 105,xxx miles. The car recently died due to a faulty Crank Positioning Sensor. The CPS was replaced and during that process a stud on the y pipe broke. An easy fix if you have a lift or you can take it to an exhaust shop and have them fix it for less than 100.00. The transmission shifts fine. The engine starts without issue. Has a ticking from the exhaust leak from the broken y pipe stud. The rear brakes could use a replacement. Was converted from SLS to springs. No warning lights, three amigos, etc... I do have exhaust manifold gaskets as well as a oil pan gasket new in the package. There is a slight leak coming from the transmission to radiator lines. I am just trying to be very detailed and honest, Land Rovers are not the best vehicles for the average person. The Discovery's have a huge following and they are a lot of work. I have had a Discovery for the last 14 years of my vehicles but I have four kids and they are starting to get bigger and bigger so I need to get a mini van or something larger. The third row seating is not good for anyone over 5'4" tall. The fuel cap needs to be replaced. it will throw a code when it is hot out and you cannot tighten down the cap when it is really hot out. Once it cools you can clear the code and tighten it down and it will be fine.

Other Issues:
Clean title in hand, but I have to remove my license plates because they are Disabled Veteran Plates and they are not transferable. so you would need to flat bed it, print off temp plates, or drive at your own risk (of getting caught without driving with plates). The stock stereo went out and I replaced it with a very nice Pioneer with Ipod unit. the factory alarm key fob works but it is on and off, it works fine when you replace the battery after two weeks of use. I am not hurting for cash or in a hurry to sell it so no low ballers. If I decide to go out and rough out the heat and replace the exhaust stud the price is going up to 5800.00. If I have to fix the transmission lines the price is going up to 6300.00. Any other work that I do to the Discovery prior to sale the price will go up. Letting it go this cheap so I do not have to do the minor work.

The Carfax report is clean.

No longer available. I was driving to pick up a foosball table and I lost all oil pressure. I am just glad I didnt sell it before this happened. I would have felt horrible. I am possibly going to sell it as is or part it out.

yeah it sucks. I decided to go out and buy a new car on monday. now I have to get rid of this asap because I do not have the room for 4 cars, more so since only two of them actually run. My Datsun 510 isnt going anywhere, I am going to be buried in it. Then my wife has a new 2012 Mini Cooper and I have a 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman S (loving it so far). I have a three car garage but parking the disco in the driveway is annoying to get around. My neighbor two doors down wants to buy it for 3k and turn it into a purely off road vehicle and I am probably going to take it.

Take the $3k and run.

The neighbor knows that the engine has shit the bed? The only downside is if he bugs you with questions after the purchase.
