2004 drivers seat wont move

I adjusted my wifes seat last night had to go to the store. She is 4'9 I am 6 foot we got a really bad snowstorm last night it was cold. This morning she got into the car and the drivers seat wont move forward will the cold cause this. She can drive it but where should I start looking? thanks guys.:banghead:

Seat motor could be bad, I have replaced a few.

Does it work with the key off, and the door open?

Will it move in any direction besides forward? If yes, check the switch. If no, fuse, motor, etc...

Had the same problem with my driver side once. Turned out to be the 40amp fuse under seat was out. Could NOT FIND a 40amp fuse anywhere so I replaced it with a 30amp and have had no problem since.

Yep fuse found some 40 andt checker auto parts.
