I woke up this morning with some major pizza sadness.

So far, we have not found really good pizza in Tallahassee.

My most favorite pizza in the world is Gondolier Pizza. We're gotten pizza from the Clearwater Beach Gondolier at least once a week... for more years than I can count.

Recalling their menu might have said they had a Georgia location, I used Google Earth to find out.

Guess What??

They do have Georgia franchises and one of them is in Dawsonville!! :D :applause:

Unfortunately, not all Gondolier Pizza places are created equally. I have 4 of them near home and only 1 is good. It's not like Pizza Hut (using for chain example) where no matter where in the nation you are, they all taste the same.

Sorry for the Hijack:patriot:

That's too bad. :(

My dogs love the bread sticks.

Once they surprised me and baked an empty small pizza for my dogs.

I hid it from my dogs in the car. When we got home, I took it outside and threw it like a frisbee. Blue loved to play frisbee. The look on his face when he caught it was priceless. :)

Your probably right, Tallahassee's not known for pizza. Tennessee Street  maybe, but not pizza. What side of town do you park your truck?

Do you think you will make the trek up Jamie?

Well, I was going to when I discovered PIZZA up there, but if it is not good... then no!

Just joking. :D

I'm sure we'll get up that way eventually. I'm keeping the dates of your event in mind. If we can't make it to this one, perhaps we'll be able to make it to the next one. :)

We are NE of Tallahassee, just south of the Georgia state line.

Not sure, but I think the area we live in used to be called Bradfordville??

Now it is called NE Tallahassee.

Do you like Bison? You have a Ted's Montana Grill in Tallahassee.

That's not too far from us. :)

Actually, it looks like Ted's is just one block south of Outback Steakhouse (which has become our once a week take out dinner since I can't find decent pizza... but, I'd still rather be having GOOD PIZZA).

Is Ted's better than Outback??

It's different than Outback. You can get burgers or steaks in bison or beef. I go to Ted's for bison. Bison is healthier for you than beef. Read the bison buzz.

I like Outback for what it is; but, I enjoy going to an upscale steakhouse like Ruth's Chris or Mortons. Also, I like to buy a good quality steak and grill over it charcoal at home or when camping.

I talked to a friend of ours this morning and she said there is a couple of good pizza places that weren't there when I lived there. Momo's pizza and Village pizza are a couple in Killearn on the n. side by you and Barnaby's (Been in Tallahassee for a long time) on the south east side of town on apalachee pkwy next to Sonny's.

Oh, and make sure you come up to SAE!

Thanks, I will try them!

We are joyfully anticipating the birth of a new family member in October. I'm not sure how much I will be needed, so right now I'm not making any travel plans for the fall/winter.

I will get up that way at some point in time. Just in case, I've noted the dates of this event on my calender. For sure, I need to learn to drive in the slippery clay. :)

Does anyone here live in Thomasville, GA?
