2016 Hall of Shame/Fame Nominations

It's time to bring back the Hall of Shame contest. We haven't done one in a while so we're going to do it a little differently this time. We're going to do two polls:

Hall of Shame: The biggest shit-show of a thread this year. The best DWeb HOS threads start off innocently enough and usually ends in someone storming off into the sunset with a massive case of butt-hurt, never to be seen again.

Hall of Fame: This is a new one. For this contest, we nominate the most genuinely awesome thread of the year. Threads in this category should exhibit exemplary technical expertise and should represent DWeb at it's best: helpful and honest.

Please feel free to nominate threads for one or both categories but be sure to specify whether your nomination is for "Shame" or "Fame".

I don't have a prize for the chapped-ass losers in the HOS shame noms but once we have a HOF nominee, we'll decide who offered the best advice and I will send that person some coveted and not-for-sale DiscoWeb stickers. If I have some NAS-ROW stickers, I'll send some of those, too.

We'll keep the nominations open until mid-December or whenever I remember to start the winners polls.

This was from 2015 which maybe disqualified but it is worth mentioning. Had everything to get someone up to speed with what dweb is about.

It was one of my favorites and was allowed to live vicariously through it. I wish I could say fuck it and leave for weeks to see what is out there.

Well, we haven't done this since 2008 so let's just say that 2015 and 2014 are also in play.

Are you nominating that for HOS or HOF?

Disqualify any thread where people are posting "this should be in the HOF or HOS. I think this just results in people posting so they can be immortalized on the intardweb.
Unless I'm in it. Then carry on.
Also, limit Kennith's posts so that we don't use up valuable bandwidth that the entity previously known as the internet needs to obtain consciousness and take over the industrial military complex. It's only evolution.
