3.5 timing cover...

I have taken every bolt and nut out of the timing cover, and the distributor is out. I am pretty sure someone must have used some sort of sealer on the cover b/c i can't get it off. I have tried prying and banging...any suggestions?

just when you think you have them all out-
be sure you check on the passengers side, below the part where the w.p. mounts... there is one down in there... its kinda near the oil pump assembly.
use the GIANT flathead & BFH approach if all else fails- you'll find out just where that last bolt is hanging out.
and do your self a favor. use a torque wrench when putting the bolts back in, using the right anti-sieze. ask me how i know.
