I actually bought a set of tf arms from Randy Williams for my d2 that had been in an accident. One was fine but the other one was shaped like an s and was in 2 pieces. My friend who is a fabricator made a jig for the straight one, then we used a piranha to straighten out the bent one. Using the jig he made sure the bent one was straight and then gusseted the sides with flat stock to re enforce it. I wheeled it for 2 years with no problems. 75 on the highway and not even the slightest shimmy. Took about 2 hrs to do the work.

I wonder if they could be straightened in a press?
Then cut in half and sleeved with rectangular tubing?
I would try it on my own truck, not sure I would recommend it for the public.

it couldnt be any weaker than the condition tf ships them in

If your boy can do that why not just cut and gusset your stock arms?

Opportunity. Randy sold me those arms for practically nothing. Besides my buddy likes a challange. Simply cutting the arms and rewelding them is to easy. Taking a mangled arm and rebuilding it is way more funner.
