The other day the amigos popped up again after a 1 year vacation. Just coming to a red light, ABS fluttered, and BAM! Odelay! Well, after a day or two I tried to put the transfer case in low and it would not go. Now it feels completly stuck. Could it be that the amigos and the transfer case solenoid fairy both showed up on the same day? Am I that lucky? Or are they related and there is a bigger problem? The amigos came on intermittantly for a day or two, but now they are on full time. Any ideas? Need to get this resolved pretty soon. Thanks for your help!

I only have a D1 but the transfer case should have nothing to do with the three amigos.
Tou need to take the cover off and spray the shit out of it and let it soak for a while and it should start to moove.

not related...remove soleniod and be done with it. as for the three amigos, could be a wheell sensor, but you said it fluttered, so i would check the modulator....

Unless you have the wire mod done when you engage the CDL and turn off/restart the engine you will get the three amigos for the 1999-2002 DII's with a retrofitted CDL.

This happens right after you start the engine though. Hmm.

Was your CDL indicator light also on or flickering?

Just a thought, but if the amigos are coming on/off while driving it looks not related.

yes, if you restart the engine with the cdlengaged, you'll disable the abs/tc/hdc, which will turn on the lights. his problem occured while stopping at a red ight. not related...

If you have aftermarket or very low rear brake pads and they squeal coming to a stop and your wheel bearings are anything but perfect you'll get ABS activation from time to time, if it lasts longer than n 10ths of a second then the lights will light, but go out again when you re-start and will not throw a code. It's a safety feature to prevent total brake loss.
