I know this is a shot in the dark, but we all dream about finding our first rover, so here it goes. I sold my 1995 teal Discovery with a safari gard bumper, safari gard stage 1 lift, a warn 9.5 winch, and some dead stickers back in 2000 to a kid from Salem, Oregon who was headed out to Boulder for school. I have pictures of it posted in the gallery section (josh ahmann). I am hoping that someone out in Boulder may have seen the car or know who owns it. The owners name was Mike (I know thats helpful) but thats all I have. Thanks ahead of time to anyone who has any info and everyone who doesn't textually destroy me for posting this.

If you have the VIN do a carfax. If you do not have it call the BMV in the state you sold it in and do a title search.
Unfortunately I don't have the VIN anymore. The title search is a good idea, I'll have to get on that tomorrow. Dan, if you are out there and can help please do.
I dug through my records and found the VIN, now does anyone have a current carfax account? Not really into paying $25 for a one report.
The cars last record was a change of location to Salem, OR but that was back in 2004. Anyone ever see the car down there? On a sour note, it looks like the owner had an accident serious enough to warrant a trip to the collision center.

Flip - If you have the vin number I can run it through carfax. That goes for anyone else as well. Just pm me the vin and an email address and I can send you the report. I have a month of unlimited checks so might as well abuse it.

Last time i saw my rover it was for sale on ebay, and they were trying to play off of the broken transmission.
