WARNING...This is a partially restored project not a running vehicle!
LHD 1972 Series III 109 SW with 3.0 Liter Mercedes naturally aspirated diesel mated to a completely rebuilt land rover gearbox and t-case using aircraft aluminum billet adapter plate made by Jim at Seriestrek.
I have put in over 200 hours so far and this project is basically half way completed. I have a full set of photos which document the entire process. basically it is a completed rolling chassis and the body is ready to be stripped and go out for paint.
The level of workmanship on this project so far has been meticulous and the this truck will make an excellent expedition vehicle or concours truck.
All the parts are there with the exception of the following: K-Members between front and rear doors, big green starter, battery will need to be moved to rear since the old battery mount is now taken up by new defender radiator with twin kenlow fans. Wiring harness (I was going to do a modern canbus style system and get rid of the old barrel snap crap). Shocks, tires and needs a new lower facia panel for the dash, the old one is rusted under the vinyl, it is a minor part.
The truck is located in Georgia at Hard Labor Creek Fab. I can email a pdf documenting the process to serious inquiries.

No tire kickers please!
