88 RRC CDL Shifter Knob

I replaced my '88 RRC's CDL knob with a DI's knob. It's a different shape (more egg shaped than round), but it works great!

Give Will Tillery a ring... that's where I got mine.

Although it looks the same, it's not the same part. It connects differently. Mine should have a female threaded insert in the knob.

That said I'm still looking.

You line the inside with a match box cover and force it on evenly.
Holding up for atleast 3 yrs here.

D1 knob.... worked fine on my '88...

The knob itself is fine, just looks like the threaded liner was plastic and cracked and fell out. When I get some time I'm going to try and find a nut that will fit the shifter threads and try and epoxy it into the knob.
