Yes the A/C expansion valve. I have not had good luck with motorcars in the past. I will check into the number you referenced.

I put my 1989 expansion valve in to my 1991 and went from the digital to the analog temperature controller. I have the coldest AC of any Range Rover Classic I know. It works great. And it's the R134A conversion.

You need to come over. my a/c is broken.I think it's mostly the valve and fan, but it sucks having swamp-ass all the time.

I can only imagine the heat in AZ! We have humidity. My problem is that my problem is intermittent. Probably 80% of the time my A/C works. I have a new compressor and drier and the refrigerant level is fine. It seems I have a blockage sometimes. Not when I can get it hooked up to a machine to check pressure levels. I am only guessing that it is the expansion valve.
