I just purchased a 91 RRC, I am in need of some repair panels for the driver side floor board and door sill, is there any state side vendors that sale these, or do I have to get them overseas? Any help is appreciated.
Buy some sheet, and go to town. You'll most likely have to use some to tie into whatever replacement panels you might buy anyways. Access to a brake helps, but you could get it done without one.
I agree with the rwhitmo04 said, I'm currently working though floors on my d1, the panels are pretty basic so I wouldn't bother buying patch panels assuming you have access to a welder and a shop... There are also numerous "making panels" tutorials online check out http://retrorides.proboards.com/ for a huge thread with lots of examples.
Making panels doesn't require many tools, a bench top brake made out of some flat bar (lots of plans online) will help you out but I've done most of my panels with a vice, various chisels and a couple of hammers. Just take your time and do a good job.
