REDUCED FROM $4000 to $2750 cash. Need to clear room before winter. Otherwise I'll be tempted to put this inside and restore it fully. Ha ha

Ok - so I just got this, saved it from being parted out. To anyone wondering and wanting to be an ass - yes I bought it cheap. Yes I towed it home. Yes I put a lot of time into cleaning it up and going through it. Yes I diagnosed the issues and spent my time getting it reliable again. YES I plan to make a few bucks on it. Welcome to the capitalist country we call America. ;)

Had a bad pickup in the Mallory distributor - repaired and runs great.

SUPER SOLID rust free body and chassis.

Now.... It is a Rover. It's RUST FREE in terms of typical rust. Does it have SMALL spots and LIGHT surface rust in confined areas - OF COURSE.

That said there is NO rust through and no issues with corrosion. The floor boards had minor surface rust from the normal wet padding. No issues. It's been sealed with Wurth poly cure rust paint. (Like POR15 but better)

Has not been painted on any panels ever so far as I can tell. So what you see is truly what you get. Dings here and there but overall VERY presentable.

Interior is quite clean - however:
NO headliner at all.
Rear seat has one large tear in the pass lower corner.
Missing a couple trim parts like 1 A-pillar and both front door thresholds.
Ignition key was inop so it has been wired with toggle and push button.
(I will include a good key set-up if desired)
Rear load space carpet is missing.
Rear load space cover is missing.
Radio code missing so I don't know if it works.

Outside:
Dings and few scratches for sure but no big issues save for:
Crease in center of front edge of bonnet.
Crease in rear lower gate almost center above license plate light.
SLIGHT corrosion on lower gate near license plate light. MINOR. And no other corrosion around gate or rear lights area!!
Upper tailgate is so-so. Should be replaced but its there and holding fine. Holding too well... The latches seem to be stuck. Have not tried too hard to open it. Closed currently.
Both drivers side chrome bumper finishers are missing.
Small chip in windscreen near center. Not in view and NOT bad at all.
Clear coat is bad on hood center and roof. Colorado and then southern truck....
Wheels are excellent with only minor scuffing/curb rash.

Tires are near new BFG commercial TA. 245-75-16
Brakes are good and front caliper recent.
Brakes work well, NO ABS LIGHTS ON. Functions as should.
No check engine lights.
All lights work. All functions work INCLUDING AC.
Power mirrors are hit or miss.
NEW BORLA CAT BACK.
Mallory dizzy and coil.
GM alternator conversion.
Tach sometimes works.
LT230 transfer conversion with good ujoint shafts front and rear.
No cooling issues.
Recent new steering box. Still has slight reservoir leak though.
OME lift springs and shocks. Rides great. Slight wander due to drive angles (normal and feels fine to me)
No big noises - few rattles here and there of course.
May have a slight exhaust manifold or header pipe leak as I can hear a slight tick-tick leak.
Recent battery.
New wiper blades beam style.
Seems to run drive and stop fine. Since I have not driven it that much I'd recommend towing any great distance, it has sat for some time - but I'm driving it everyday and it goes well. Just needs a bunch of detailing to be excellent. But the solid body..... It's a GREAT platform to start with!

If I can't sell her soon I will build this truck back to what it should be. A great daily and mild trail toy. I like it a lot, the black interior is nice!

Open to offers and swaps of course but given the rare not-rotted-with-brown-cancer here in Maine nature - I'm asking $4000.

Man - everyone wants a RRC when they are not available... Now we have a rot free LWB in rare black on black. Someone needs this before I swap the 285 swamplers, Detroit and 4:43 diffs in! Ha ha

Open to offers and swaps. I have too many rovers and need cash and or parts for the hybrid series coiler project - and the other RRC!

An update, did some more work to her today.

I have floor sill covers for it, a fuse panel cover and a whole spare ignition column with wiper/turn stalks etc. I will include these parts.

Tightened up the manifold bolts and no more exhaust leak tick issue.

I believe one of the cats *may* be rattling - heard it when cold. I will include another y-pipe assembly with purchase.

Repaired a rear control arm bushing, drives far better now.

Still needs a new upper A-Arm ball joint, does have some play and can hear slight clunk every so often from the rear. It's not horrible by any means and I'd drive it to florida as is personally. I can include a spare joint with purchase.

Now that she's back on the road a bunch the swivel ball seals are weeping. Not horrible, but there is some wetness. Just want a full disclosure. Also as mentioned the steering box is NEW but the res or line to the res still leaks a little. Again, not horrible, but there.

Center console arm rest is missing - will include one with purchase.

If someone wants to drive the truck home any distance there is a good spare tire, jack set and I would be happy to pick you up at the local airport. I will also purchase another new Mallory Distributor pick up sensor as they are a known weak point in the system. ($50 on Amazon)
And I will top off the fuel tank for you. :)

If you weren't LITERALLY on the COMPLETE opposite side of the continental US I'd snap it up. I'm thinking about it anyway.
