Fly in to Salt Lake, pick up this Disco, go straight to Moab, then drive home!

Time to sell the old Disco. I bought it from a guy who kept it in Arizona so there literally is not one spec of rust on the entire vehicle (underneath or on the body). Because it was kept in Arizona, the Roof has been baked a little from the sun, and the dash has curled up near the windshield. The paint on this disco is Perfect, very shiny, the inside is probably average for a well kept 10 year old disco. Seats have no tears or rips, but show minor wear. Heres a list of stats:

140,000 miles
A/C Works great
Green with Tan Interior
Leaks a Little Oil (if you wash the underside it takes about a week for it to start hitting the driveway)
2.25" Spacer Lift
245-75R16's (approx 30% tread left)
Auto
Pretty much stock except for spacer lift and tires.

I am new to the Disco world and new nothing of the off road capability of this car when I bought it. I bought it as a nice SUV that went down the road great. It doesnt pull, shifts perfectly and starts every time with no issues whatsoever. I really never knew an older engine/transmission could feel soo solid.

After visiting this site a few times I decided to venture down to Moab. I went twice in this car and was AMAZED. I only did Fins' n Things a few times and Hells Revenge. Never bottomed out, and did everything I tried. The point I'm trying to make is that this car hasnt been beat up its whole life. It runs great and is my daily driver. Im getting rid of it because my Wife hinted about how getting a little Wranger would "be kinda nice" so call me a sell out, call me whatever you want, you can have a great well kept disco for CHEAP!

I live in Farmington UT, which is about 20 minutes north of Salt Lake City. If someone wanted to fly in to get this car I would pick them up from the airport, you could go to Moab, or drive home, or whatever.

Pics will be posted on Wednesday. Thats as soon as I can do it. I have been as honest as possible about this car, but you really need to see pictures, so I will get them by Wednesday, contact me if your interested.

Your disco now is more capable than a wranger stock and has more room.

Not more to the story at all. The disco ran great, just crappy on gas, and I wanted to wheel with the top off. I sold the Disco locally for what I was asking in 3 hours, and I feel like I really hooked someone up with a great deal. I got my new Wrangler, and it has pro's and cons with the Disco. I definitly like the lower center of gravity and the 20+ MPG, and the convertable, while I miss the gucci leather interior and "quiet" highway driving. I use the term quiet only when compared to a soft top.

Soo, Im not anti at all, but I really do think a faithfull D webber missed out on a really well kept disco.

If you are talking the inline 6 I believe it is a much better engine than the jeep v8.
