nothing wrong with a 94. All I am saying is I would pefer a 98-99 which tend to have the highest build quality.

it's a nice clean looking truck.

So thank you for polluting my thread even despite the other posts.

Is this what you do for a living? Seriously if you don't want to buy it for the price stated then go away. I think single handedly you have proven the other people right that state on the other boards that Dweb is a pain in the ass.

I would love to float around and find your threads and disprove you all day long but fortunately for me I have better shit to do.

You did say
$5,000 OBO
. I gave you the best offer thus far. You shot down my offer and I ask you to justify why you should get 5k?

This dialogue is too funny to turn away from.

Justinhaaga,

Judging by your rig (which also appears to be for sale at a steep loss), you know your way around a Rover.

Although you try and bad mouth the rig, its price, its mods, and its year, you are obviously smitten with it, as well you should be. You jumped on the thread and posted an offer 26 minutes after the ad was posted, playing coy saying the offer was conditioned on the rig checking out, as if you were not 100% in love with the rig.

You then spend a lot of time justifying your low-ball offer and complaining about a lack of interest in your offer, going so far as to post 6 or 7 examples of lower priced rigs, and upping your original offer by 1k. Let's face it, you appreciate the rig, as anyone who looks at the pics would, and want it bad.

Quit being a whiner and let the rig go. You won't pay his required price, and he won't let you steal it for less.

As I have stated previously, it's a sweet rig and will command at least 5k from a true enthusiast who loves the mods and can appreciate its capabilities.

I'm a concerned buyer.

Do you have service records?

so let me get this straight.

1) no hd axles
2) no lockers
4) no gears
5) no winch
6) no rear bumper
7) lift is what again? what kind of shocks?
8) extended brake lines?
9) double cardon front shaft?
10) caster correted radius arms?
11) caster correted swivel balls?

$5,000, where do we get this figure? $3550 offer on the table, my offer is very reasonable.

Here let me dump 3500 into it so I can sell it to you for 3000.

Last time fawk off! I wouldn't sell it to you even if you offered 6K for it.

$3500 on what?

Oh please. We have all gone through that. People put 10k into thier truck. They can't expect to sell it for $15,000. When the base is $3k. It sucks but that's the way it is.

I dont see what he is doing wrong?

he is offering to buy the truck when nobody else is, since when is that a problem?

Frankly franky its a nice truck but it aint gonna bring a bunch more anywhere

go take it to car max and have them offer you 2000 to 2500...very few 94's bring anything in resale..hell I like the truck to and see lots of value in it but if I were looking to find a replacement for my 94 I wouldent offer any more then Justin is either.

its a 14 year old truck

Go ahead and put me on ignore now too:D

As a side note, the book value for these things is always off, depending on how well you know rovers and the mods done. The book never reflects the emotion of it, and this rig evokes emotion. Period.

yeah yeah like I said in my first post its a great looking clean rig...but 99.999999% of the world has no other emotion for it then the dread of driving it to the gas station as a seller you need to find that one guy that really wants it.

Selling a moded disco is never easy the fact this one is really not even moded much is its saving grace.

4 grand isnt chump change when a guy needs to sell a rig...all emotion aside

I for one appreciate when guys roll the dice and offer what they can pay in life...often those kinda guys find the best deals.

The truck is worth what ever somebody will pay. On D Web there are people trying to steal your rig for as little as possible. And if they can't they try to devalue your rig. I think that peolple should offer what they will pay and shut up other then that. It is a for sale board, not what do you think it's worth, or what do you think of my truck, or anything other then FOR SALE. Most of the people making comments are not real buyers anyway.
Good Luck with the sale.

Mods... Too many lights and some painted wheels?

Jason: You know as well as I do that people on Dweb will low ball because most know exactly what goes into building a truck and thus the seller should expect this.
