I have had my seat relay bank out for about 6 months now, with the good intention of jumping the traces on the pcb that are corroed from the leaking seat memory battery. I have too many other damn projects going on right now to want to do this particular repair job myself. So I finally decided to reach out to anyone who may either already have one that has been repaired or has one which is still operational.

-or-

Does anyone repair these and may take mine for a partial trade? like a repairable core type deal... With mine, most of the seat functions / movement directions of the driver seat work except forward and back movement and the Passenger seat works in all directions.

I know I could just jump the circuits but I am trying to keep as much of the truck in original and functional condition as possible with this restoration.

If you're lucky (like I was when I had the same problem) it's only dirt in the brushes of that respective motor.
Unbolt the seat from the rails and flip the seat backwards while leaving everything connected so you can see the 4 motors under the seat and determine the faulty motor.
Undo the two push-pull cables from the motor so it can spin freely, move the switch in the desired direction while gently tapping the motor and it may turn again, if you're lucky.
Success, Tony.

That is a good first step in diagnosing the issue, which I did... first. I removed the relay module only after eliminating the switch (rebuilt that friggin puzzle made of ball bearings and tiny springs), then eliminated the motors and cables as the culprits. I then pulled the seat module and found this...

These are after I removed the Varta 3.6 v battery and cleaned up the oxidation. All I really need to do is jump the corroded traces and hope for the best, which sucks.

I found two people who either repair or remake these units so far. I have no experience with either yet. The part number is CD6674 which apparently is also similar to Bentley and Rolls. Nothin' but high-class shit here folks.

These guys send out units from the mother-land but I have no idea how they reman or refurb them. http://www.sbi-ee.co.uk/ECU.html

I spoke with Alex (the other guy I found) and he says he completely remakes the board and takes your unit as a core. Found here http://www.properparts.com/products/seat--mirror-controller.html When I spoke with him the quoted price was better then the one listed on the web. Worth asking...

I may just rebuild mine and I'll update later...
