94 LWB transfer Box swap.......which LT-230

I’m pulling the B/W out of my 94 LWB and I have two different (era) LT-230’s that I could use.

1 87’RRC. 80k (my tuck sacrificed itself for me 12yrs ago. I recovered it.
2 98 Disco I. 139K. Donor vehicle from a buddy w/blown motor...road queen, no off-roading.

I’m partial to the 87 because of mileage.
The 97 has had all the updates (to that point) and would almost plug into the lwb.

Interesting that you are doing this. Have the LT230 in the D1 and the BW in the Rangie. Had to replace the BW while in Switzerland so ended up with the same from Ashcroft. Know the earlier Rangies had the LT230.
Just curious-What is your reason for going to LT230?

Speedo conversion on hub output from 94 Borg to 97 LT-230 are different. Mechanical to electronic. Do I simply swap hub from the B/W to LT to continue speedo.

Time to replace the Viscous (2nd time). Not doing it. Got the LT laying around!
