95 D1 check engine light, no codes

To all,
Working on my friends 95 D1 and the check engine light is on, but there are no codes displayed on the box under the passenger seat??? Faulty box?? Any help would be appreciated........

Milage? What engine light are you talking about. Red or Amber? Red light is a service reminder to bring to the dealership. Amber I would bring it some where to get the codes read with a meter. Think auto zone still do it or just buy one from them.

mine has done this before, just pull the fuel injector fuse under the panel for a second, put it back to clear it and see if it pops back up with a code.

14cux does some wierd things from time to time
