95 D1 driver's door latch

Does anyone know how to replace a door latch?!?? Despite the lock being loose, the actual latch is dinged cracked and tearing to the point where its going to rip off if I'm not careful.

I have searched and found articles about adjusting the locks and swapping out springs but since the latch is crap, I will need to replace it when I adjust the locks. Since I will have the panels off anyway, I was going to take care of the latch then too. (What better excuse to not be helping in the kitchen on Thanksgiving!!) Rover then turkey, Mmmmm. Will be searching for a latch in the classifieds or is there another source? Maybe I should find an old Lotus Esprit.

Hi

The door handle was fitted to all sorts of crap British cars, try a morris marina or Triumph TR7, or easier to find, a range rover classic.

I got a new latch fairly cheap from DAP. Mine broke off- so I didn't have a choice and I figured a used one might not last long anyway. It was an easy swap-

Thanks all!!

Will, I might call you once I've got a new latch, if I can't figure it out!! One thought that occured to me was the yoke and key, is it easy to install & keep using my existing one?!?
