I'm asking this on behalf of a fellow tech in my shop. Since I no longer work for a Rover dealer, I do not have access to ToPIX and my copy of RAVE is currently MIA. He did a complete brake job on a 95 LWB w/ABS. He also replaced the brake lines. I remember the bleed process was rather tedious, but its been a couple of years. He says he can't get any pedal resistance or fluid when starting at the L/F caliper. I thought he should run the pump for a bit and then proceed with the normal manual bleed procedure (with key off). Am I correct? I remember something about outside bleed screw on the drivers side first, then passenger, etc. Thanks in advance.

Surprised nobody has chimed in here, tried to attach the abs bleed chapter from my cd but would not upload here, maybe too big? I don?t know. send me a pm and I?ll try it that way. You are correct, bleed outer left then outer right, then inner r, inner l, then hyd pump and ignition on for a few secs, then accumulator, then booster, and on and on.

Thanks. We found access to ToPIX through the back door and printed up the 14 step instructions. i remember doing a caliper on a 93 a few years ago and it sucked. We got it all taken care of and only had to perform the procedure twice. A ton of air got into the system since he removed the calipers and painted them black....as opposed to the dirty black they already were.
