I'm planning on swapping out the air suspension on my 95 RRC and am wondering if there is an advantage to relocating the shocks inside the coils, ala D1 or RRC pre 95'. Thanks in advance.

yes you can use the DII shock towers and some rovertym style lower retainers and then use a loop to loop style shock that will give you more sizes to choose from.
also you get the bonus of being able to use the DII style rubber isolators and that will make the truck ride nicer.
