I'm looking for some advice. Found a clean 1995 RRC SWB for sale in the Seattle area. Asking price is $3,800.

The good: It has a clean body, no evident rust (except for rear bumper), engine sounds healthy, and runs well.

The bad: brake warning light on during braking (owner says it needs a break job), heater not blowing warm air (AC okay), and can't transfer case can't engage in low.

What do you guys think, and what would be a good price. Thanks!

$3800 sounds a little high... how many miles?

The transfer case is likely a bad solenoid.

The heater blower is a few hundred dollars and, from what I hear, a full day's labor for someone who's done it before.

I haven't been paying attention to the market much lately, but I'm thinking $2500 to $3000?

I got my 95 RRC from a junkyard for 900. not really "clean," but runs great.

i got a 1990 RRC with 50,000 original miles, dealer service, pristine condition for 4600, and i considered that a bit high, but i only had to drive an hour to get it. the leather doesn't have one wrinkle or crease from wear.
