'95 won't start. Won't even try...

All:

Swapped the auto transmission in my '95 because the old one was bad. Now the starter won't engage. Truck in Park, foot on brake, turn key, dash lights up like a christmas tree, no start. Not even a click. Fuel pump buzzes, battery seems fine (was on a charger). Any ideas?

Do you have 12v. at the signal wire for the starter? Did you mess with the interlock wiring on the shifter? Do you have 12v at the starter itself? That's where I would start.

Turns out it was the signal wire to the starter. Runs great now and goes both forwards and backwards!
