So now that that my t-case is all sealed up and back in the truck (fingers crossed) I was going to adjust the linkage for the CDL. (It is set so far forward I can't get to the low range)

In going through the linkage I realized it wasnt going to be the usual nut and linkage adjustment down at the t-case. Whoever the fucktard was that worked on this thing before, didn't put the output lever in the right place on the spline shaft and it needs to be pulled off and centered.

Can I get to this part by taking out the center console? Now that this thing is back in getting to the bolt that faces up right under the shifter is not possible from the under side.

I have never had the console out and don't want to waste more time on this. I will be so glad when this poor rover is back to good and back on the road as a daily driver again.

Thanks for the link.

Here is the part on the spline shaft that needs to be re-centered to allow for equal throw. Now to pull all my bits off to get to it!
