96 D1 T-case Noise

Basically the problem is an accelerating rapping/ tapping sound coming from in the t-case. . . BUUUT when driven down the rd in reverse NO sound. .there was some itty bitty metal shreds and shavings on the magnetic drain plug,but what is weird is why would the noise start the first time driven after it was sitting in my shop for 2 weeks instead of before OR on my way to the shop :banghead:

How much oil did you drain out of it? It could have been low.
Have you got it out yet?

Yes, I already drained it. . No I'm a loser and its still in, Ive been in and ot of town. I didnt even think to check how much was drained from it. . .
