96 Disco 1, 5 speed, 155k miles, no rust (wax-oiled and originally from SC), RR Classic leather power seats, RTE front winch bumper and winch ( no line/Fairlead included ), RTE Sliders, RTE Rear Bumper, SD Rack, steel wheels, 2" OME lift, safari snorkel, skid plate, diff guards, no sunroofs, goodyear MT/R tires, 245/65r16s. In nice shape. No lights on the dash ( except the SRS came after a jump start ) Drives great, runs great. A few drops of oil overnight, nothing major in my opinion. Could probably use some new power steering lines as they weep the most fluid of all the drips.
The Front lights on the Rack are not connected, the Hi-Lift it is not included, however the mount is.

Located in Sykesville, MD

$ 5,800.00

Note the side pic without the sliders.

More pics to come after I clean it

Pics for now here

I'm looking at purchasing this truck and will have to do a fly in drive home kind of purchase. I have not seen it in person but Gustavo said to ask anyone on dweb that my have seen it about the condition and value. So any opinions about it would be greatly appreciated. I know how brutally honest this site is so before I fly from Florida to get the truck I would love to have any and all input.
Thanks

Gustavo is a shady character and his trucks are of the lowest standard...

Totally kidding; first and foremost I'd trust the person more than the Rover (b/c, well, it's a Rover). Standup guy across the board, so you know he'll be straight with you on the truck.

The truck is clean and well sorted, the previous owner is also a Rover enthusiast so you can be assured that recent maint should all be good to go.

I haven't crawled all over the truck personally but did look at it approx a year ago when the PO went to a NoVA HH and I got the cloth seats that had come in the truck-mostly b/c I was intrigued since we both had 5-speed D1s. Fast forward to the Conclave and it looks like the truck remains in very good condition.

I'd apply the standard caveat to this, it is a 15+ year old Land Rover...at the same time, so long as you've got AAA I wouldn't think twice about grabbing it and shooting down 95 particularly this time of year (less traffic, less heat).

I haven't seen the truck but a lot like Ray, Gustavo is such a stand up guy that I would find it hard to believe it is anything but as described. He is a great guy and with parts I have bought from him in the past he has been a completely straight shooter.

I drove this truck from Albany, NY to Alexandria, VA then to Silver Spring, MD. A little over 400 in one day.

The truck did great.

The only issue was the radio and I gave Goose a good unit for him to replace.
