Recently picked up a D1 up in Maine and its got the Service Engine/Check Engine/Anti Lock lights on.
plugged in the code reader and ... nothin. no power. :banghead: should I be looking at a fuse somewhere? New to the Disco... I've got a D90 and know this Disco is similar in a lot of ways, but any guidance would be appreciated! need to clear these codes to pass inspection.

Yes, there's a fuse you should check. I don't recall what fuse it is though. Have the owners manual?
You got a nice truck, BTW.

If one of the anti lock fuses has been pulled or blown - don't remember which one ( possible if the ABS light stays on also) the obd2 port does not have power.
fuse 4 in satellite fuse box 1 ( top horizontal row) - 5 Amp,
fuse 3 in satellite box 2 ( lower horizontal row) - 10 amp.

Good stuff on the fuses, a few of us will be over with Billy tomorrow and that will be the first thing to do to see what the CEL is showing and aid him on the way to getting it through inspection.

Also - I'm not sure on your state, but in Maine if I buy an out of state car that HAS an inspection sticker that States sticker is good till it expires.

We recently bought my wifeys car from Texas and it still had like 6 months on the Texas sticker. I asked a local cop-er and he said it was true that it was fine to use that sticker till it expires.

You may look into that, it would at least give you a bunch more time.

I'll check it. Added the fuses and got obd to work. Was able to clear the check engine light. p1158 which Ray mentioned is an O2 sensor

I'm sure Billy will post back; but for those that yank the ABS fuse(s)-that was it as it relates to the OBD port. Up and running now.

Nice truck Doug...that thing is sweet, and very smooth. I think he'll have a good time with it and use it as intended!
