i have a 96 disco , would a prom from a 96 disco ecu from conneticut work correctly in this region? Ecu serial number is compatible with my current serial number and both are automatic trans. Only reason why i ask being that i have one in my possesion and i keep getting a po 125 code and i have replaced my 02 sensors already , plus i was getting the code before i changed my sensors . thanks in advance ..

The only thing that could be different between an early- and a late-96 MY GEMS ECU is presence of advanced evap equipment on later trucks. Older ones don't have a pressure sensor in the tank, and using a later ECU on an earlier truck may trigger CEL with codes like P0441, P0446, and P0451 (IIRC).
