 HEllo, have you ever heard of such a thing?

Check engine on, 2 different ISO OBDII readers shows no codes...
light still on... and no it is not the "service light"..

could it be a faulty fuse box all togheter?

I have no experience with these trucks, any info is appreciated.

thanks

Simon.

I always have trouble getting the codes from my RR. I tried 3 code readers before I got the code. I was told that the main circuit for the OBD II connection first goes to the transmission and you had to get the computer to switch over to the engine. So now I do this.....
1. Start the car then turn it off.

2. Connect the OBD II connector.

3. Cycle the ignition off and on 4 times ending in the on position.
DO NOT START THE CAR WITH THE OBS II CONNECTED!

4. Then press the read or link button on the scanner.

5. Repeat this starting with the ignition off and the scanner disconnected several times until you get the code.

Deleating the code is also tricky sometimes. I have found that once I get the codes if I scroll through all of them on the scanner and then press erase I have more luck.

Hope this helps.
