So I'm thinking of parting ways with my lawn ornament.. not sure what its worth so BO takes it
Location is Monmouth County, New Jersey

1996 P38 Black
Motor ran strong and Transmission never showed any issues or problems previous issues with wire harness wearing and causing problems required some rewiring and I have a feeling thats whats wrong with it now.. just don't have desire/time to fix it again

RoverTym 3" springs
OME shocks
front and rear great basin drive shafts
5 unworn BFG 33" mud terrains.. (truck has been sitting since they were put on..)
Safari Guard roof rack

now to the not so good..
Interior is pretty shot.. used it for a woods truck for awhile.. no headliner or A/B pillars
Most likely has some wire harness issues as it continually pops the ECU fuse under the hood
back door handles are broken internally.. replaced 2 and the other 2 broke and i gave up on the back doors
Coolant slowly leaking from O-rings in heater core.. never ripped apart dash to replace just added coolant on occasion
very minor rust spots on hood.. everywhere else is pretty solid.. no other known rust spots
truck has been sitting for about a year and half without being turned over so i haven't the foggiest of its current state

Mike D? As in Mike D of the Beastie Boys? Awesome! Maybe this is the Range Rover he was rapping about in the song "Sounds of Science", and I quote:

Now here we go dropping science dropping it all over
Like bumping around the town like when you're driving a Range Rover

Ah, "Paul's Boutique". My fave all time Beastie's album.

Possibly.. I know when I bought the roof rack it was 800 bucks or so but that was a few years ago and I'm not sure what its worth anymore.. tires of course aren't cheap but have been sitting.. I'm thinking they're in brand new shape though.. Not really interested in stripping it down to a non moving lawn ornament.. hoping to just wash my hands of it at this point.

Well, since Paul's Boutique was released in July 1989, I highly doubt they were referring to a P38 Range Rover.

Obviously, the song was referencing a Classic.
