'97 D1 inner fender holes

These holes on the passenger side inner fender are threaded. Is something supposed to be mounted here?

the ones closest to the battery are where the hood switch goes on 94 and 95.

the other holes I don't think are used on north american disco. I think an alarm speaker is one of the many things that could be mounted there depending on the country and engine.

I have used the extra threaded holes mount relays. They are close to the fuse box and a factory ground.

rhd 300tdi cruise control looks like one of the options

Well I won't be swapping in a 300 tdi. And RHD is not in my future so I think I can safely make use of these holes. Good to know I'm not missing something important. Thanks Robert.
