$2,000, 97 SE7 D1 in Virginia 20132

Prior to the engine throwing a rod in August this was a reliable daily driver. It’s been kept up with the typical routine maintenance and repairs, such as- In the last year

Radiator, top and bottom hoses
Muffler and tail pipe
Tires(245 Cooper Discovery)
Fuel Pump
VSS
Alternator
Serpentine Belt
Water Pump
Trans Fluid Change (with new filter)
T-case Fluid Change
Differential Fluid Change
Coolant Fluid Change
Battery

This is either a nice project for another daily driver or a great trail truck.

Rust- there’s the typical rust starting to show in the upper rear passenger door jams, cargo door jam and driver side sill.

Sunroofs are enabled and sealed with waterproof tape.

Seats are in very good condition, with some wear on DS but not tear or stitching issues. Motors work well.

Windows/Glass- all glass is good. Front window motors fine, rears need to be looked at. Probably fuse or relay.

AC- Needs a compressor.

Dash is in very good condition, no warping.

Video- this was taken ironically just days before the engine gave way.

Ecu- Good, not dash lights.

Headlights and Signal lights all good.

Headliner sags in the backC0E3B591-5819-4B46-8FF8-A8A742FA9B62.jpeg

I am interested, but I live 6 hours away, so I need to get a really good idea of what it looks like before driving up there to look at it and getting it transported to me.

I have a 97 se7 and it has the 4 liter engine with 7700lb towing capacity 2 sunroofs heated seats cruise control and the jump seats in the back. Is your car exactly like that? I'm just not sure If there would be any differences with add-ons, or if they're the exact same car. Because it's in rough shape but has a good engine. Id swap it into yours. And could you send pictures of the rust you mentioned and of the underneath of the car? As many pictures as you can would be awesome.

It’s parked at the indie shop that it was towed to when the engine died last May. I’ll grab more pics as soon as I can get there, about an hour from my house. This is the extent of rust.

Thank you. I appreciate it but I think mine maybe in a bit better shape as far as the rust goes. You're asking a fair price. But I'm going to keep looking for now.

No worries. She’s a little past her daily driver days. Solid trail rig potential, kid’s first car or very nice parts truck is probably her ideal speed.

Bumping this to the top. Great time to line up a late fall project. Many new and great condition parts. Located in Northern Virginia.
