I have a 97 Landrover Discovery, I went out to start my Disco and nothing happened, I had used it earlier and it started fine. Now the starter won't turn over,We checked the battery and its fine.. All interier lights and chimes work. So we think it might be the neutral safty swich.. Can any of you tell me where we might be able to locate it, So we can tests to see if that is what wrong.. OR have any sugestion on what you think it might be wrong with it

Thanks D

Pressure at the rails? Spark at the plugs? How is the fuel pump? Do we hear the buzzzzz when we turn the truck on? 1997 means coil pack - is this an intermittent problem or did it just start today? How many miles? CEL on?

Does it just crank crank crank --to no avail the thing refuses to start? I think it is starving for fuel. I have walked this path twice with my 1998 D1 81K miles. I would start with the fuses too check those make sure the one labeled fuel pump has not blown.

Don't know on your 97 Disco but on my 89 RRC rollover switch is under the drivers seat towards the rear.

Are you sure the battery is good? If I read your description correctly, it sounds like your starter solenoid may be bad. If you have to pull that out you may as well replace starter as well.

Melissa-why the shiny P7? First it was a glock now a P7. Due to the comments on another thread I'm sure someone will point out that the P7 is commonly called a "squeezecocker". (Blue?) ;)

LOL-

I prefer the P7 in 9mm M13 or M8. Have you already settled on a .40 cal? Just start a thread on choice of handguns and watch the posts rack up-LOL

Good luck-

I'm not sure Blue reads Latin :)
