Remind me again what you're doing for rear upper shock mounts?
4.75's must scream on the highway! :D

They are some really old school RTE mounts. They look similar to their new ones but are bigger. They were originally designed to extend the shock forward more to accommodate longer shocks. I didn't like that they were at such long angle so I turned the mounts up. Cut a hole in the floor and drilled some new holes. I probably need to adjust them again once I figure out what I'm doing in the rear for springs. But with 3" springs and 1" spacers I have 3.5-4" of up travel.

The 4.75's are definitely not highway gears. But I don't think my trucks is safe to drive on the highway so that's ok. She' does 80mph just fine on the trailer. :D

Damn Tobias. That setup is badass.

Thanks, I'll have to see how the tires do once I get more than 5 miles on them. But I know one thing, these tires better be monsters off road because they suck on pavement. :D I'm not sure how people DD with TSL's. They are actually worse at low speeds. But it sounds like there is a helicopter hovering over your head while driving down the road.

So you've got TSL's or what? What size?

Yeah I went with the Q78 TSL's. I had never really looked at them that closely before. But the tread on them is huge. I hope they wear in a little but at < 5mph the truck almost vibrates driving down my road. It smooths out a bit above that but they are loud as hell. I'm just glad it's a trailer queen I'm not sure how people DD with these tires.

So what are the actual measurements on them? Do they run small, large, or true to size?
That's the part I hate about tire shopping, you never know if a 35 will really be a 35, or closer to a 34. :(

I really wish the Creepy 255/85/16 was offered in the states.

They are definitely true to their size at least when they are new. Before mounting they measured just shy of 36". After mounting them on 16x8 wheels. Which are the widest recommended they measure just a hair short of 35.5" on the truck. But the treads are also almost 1" deep. So I'm sure they will shrink by close to 2" when they are bald.

I have not measured the width but they are skinny. So I think they are true to the 9.5" width posted on the website.

Where's the pic!!?? :)

If you scroll up and look at the first pic in the exterior section that was taken right after I mounted them.

Here is one of just the tread.

I might actually try and pull the wheel spacers off. I think these are skinny enough to not need them.

The Q78's are a beast off-road. Cut those lugs so you get better flex in the tire. Mine will almost grab onto rocks. I don't know if I'd run them on a street truck though. Google "TN cut," get a tire groover, turn your favorite band on and get to work.

Does it have any upgraded steering parts? Drag Link, Panhard Rod, Tie Rod?
