98 d1 auto transmission question

rebuilding 98 d1. went to test run; good electrics and fuel, won't shift out of park or crank. neutral safety switch do that?

Sounds like the plug under the console isnt hooked up

Did you do the rebuild yourself? Thats going to be my fall project this year

the multi-plug right at the shifter? yes. connected. tried with plug disconnected; nothing.
