98 d1 stalling loss of power going over bumps

1998 D1 120K. New plugs and wires. Cleaned maf. I'm having trouble keeping the truck running in the following situations.

Any kind of uphill offroading. If I'm climbing a hill ect if wants to just cut off.

I can be driving on the highway sometimes and pull into a parking lot low speed idle stuff and often it shuts off rolling into parking spots.

If I hit certain rough sections of the road it will be a brief loss of power about a half second after I hit the bump.

I was playing on some rocks and bumped the front bumper into a wall of a rock and it stopped the truck in its tracks and stalled right there. I then had the dreaded 2k high idle for about 3 days and driving it just cleared it up. I did one wfo pass down the road and didn't have it anymore.

Seems if I sit at a stop light for a extended bit of time it will get a misfire/rough idle feeling.

No codes yet.

Where to start? I've got a scangauge like product and can't find anything that changes when I'm hitting bumps and losing power.

sounds like either a fuel pressure problem or a faulty maf. Other suggestions check ground connections.

Just for the kicks, check the driver's side motor mount. For me, the first sign of the mount gone is stalling under load (going up a steep hill) - the engine moves just enough to pull the MAF hose off either MAF or intake plenum.

I'll throw this in there. Check the fuel pump harness. The plug on mine was bad where it connects to the fuel pump. Caused intermittent cutting out because the pump lost power. Later, it lead to multiple codes being thrown, and misfires at 45mph which felt like the tranny slipping. A good used harness for $35 cleared it all up.

Ok so here is what I found so far.

The ckps sensor wiring has been spliced in. The PO never put the wiring back in a loom so I taped it back and loomed it. The ckps wiring was bent in a position that messed it up somehow. I removed all the tape and loom and my problem definitely went away as I would hit the same bump in the road and the truck would quit/lose power for a second. Removed it and went right to the bump and it didn't do it. The truck also was kinda rough starting when this was going on. This went right away also. Just a fyi for anyone having this trouble.

I personally would rather rewire the ckps sensor myself again. Any advice on this? Or new harness?
