I live in the middle of nowhere Indiana, and people "love the way the rovers look" but don't know diddly about them I have it for sale in front of my parents house, and it is getting a ton of interest. I had a "buyer" take it to her mechanic to do a pre-buy inspection."It has an oil leak near the oil pan, and I will have to pull the engine to find out where it is". Stupid me, allowing her to take it to a Firestone tire shop mechanic that more than likely had never seen a rover. He should have known that the slight presence of oil meant that the engine had oil in it.
He scared her away from it.
This is a fantastic disco. I recently tried to re-charge the ac and all I did was cause the pipe in the rear (has dual ac) to leak. Joy!
Slight valve chatter everynow and then (not unusual as you know) but that's it. Super strong running Disco.
It was a SVD disco, but I took off some of the SVD stuff.
I have the OEM rack off and plan on keeping it. The brush guard on the LE is off my XD, and would like to keep it too. How about $7K? You come get it and I will cook you the best bratwurst you have ever had.
