99 D2 Bad Amplifier channel?

I noticed that the right rear door speakers have no sound, neither one. I am assuming both of these are driven by the same channel on the amplifier and since neither have any sound at all, that it is most like a blown channel on the amp. This is a Harmon/Kardon system. Thoughts?

you check the connector?

same wire from the amp split. so yes same channel

Ditto the connector. There may be a few outs from the amp to the speakers to individual drivers in the door (there is a tweeter and a woofer).

It's the same channel (wire) that spits in the door to the two speakers. The speakers have built in crossovers.

I had a similar issue. We had to run the rear doors directly from the head unit. (aftermarket)

connector is good, I checked, nothing loose never un-plugged
