99 dis-4.0 in a 95 3.9 any one done it?

I need a bit of light shined in on my dark world right now. My 94 Disco is dying the motor is eating up oil and coolant and runs real hot.
I bought a 99 Disco that has been rolled and want to trans plant the 4.0 in to my 94 ( along with the real nice leather). My big hurdle is that the 99 is dis and my 94 still has a distributor on it can i just install the timing cover from the 3.9 on the 4.0 or is the cam different as in it does not have a dist drive gear? Any one done it?

I know a guy with a 4.6 swapped in, and I know that the 4.6 camshaft does NOT have a distributor drive. I don't know about the 4.0, though, but I wouldn't expect it to.
