Will do. I'll try and get right on it - I don't want to miss the sale.

What units do you have w/ a 7" screen? You give me the model #'s you have and I'll research to see if any will work. That sound like a plan?

And bye the way - That Scottish Ale you sent me was the shiznit!

540C = $409.50 shipped - I think it will fit in a large flat rate box to the 48 states, if not I'll ask for good karma and eat a couple $$. :)

Paypal, again as stated before on the others, another $10 should cover the friggin' fees. I think that's still lower $$ than anywhere else?

My supplier would have to order it, 2 week lead time on it as it's anot something they normally stock at all.

If this works send me a PM.

Nuvi 770 I *think* I can do them for $364 but I will need to verify with my supplier tomorrow.

Thanks!

Doug, can I get a price on the new Baja 840C please?

Frank, you may be interested as well since it is identical to the 540, except it has an 8" (!) screen.

They didn't get back to me today on the 840C, but i did find that if i get two at once on the special order I can do the $409.50 SHIPPED *and* Paypal. My cost is a few $$ lower buying two as it gets it over the minimum for my free shipping direct from Garmin.

Also sold a few units locally today so they are going away. :)

Doug.

Thanks Greg - STILL waiting, I guess they are new enough or something that they are having trouble nailing down a price and delivery time? Not sure - but that's what they indicated to me.

Everyone else should either have their units or will have them in a day or so - they have all shipped out.

I even decided to keep one for myself as the new Nuvi's are really fun little buggers for "on road" stuff at least. :)

They got back to me on the 840C - but still were waiting on a shipping rate/quantity break info and availability.

They said it looked like the price was about $990-$1080.00 but it could be a bit more or even a little less?

Let me know if this is even in the range of what it should be and I'll keep on them. I guess this is a new unit and it's not in the system as far as my supplier is concerned? I don't know -- anyway I'll keep on them. :)

The price makes the 540C look pretty nice.....
